Thanks for the offer Mady. I have the 2013 price listing (and an invoice is anyone wants one) but I'd like the 2014 as I've heard it's out and I want to change my budget to what it will actually cost!

I guess it depends where you're from, blueskadoobob. It is way cheaper for us to have our wedding at Jellyfish than to have it here. Our friends have spent $20-30,000 dollars. I do have one friend that spent $10,000 but pretty much everything was DIY, and no wedding coordinator. We are definitely saving money with JF, including our flights and hotels.. and I think it will also be even nicer than the ones we have been to here!

Out wedding is in July 2013 and I was wondering if any past brides would mind sharing their total cost as I am trying to figure out what the approximate cost will be for 60 guests. I am a bit worried because I am not sure if I am even remotely close to the mark and it's crunch time with the finances. I used the 2013 price list to gauge what it would be but because I don't know exactly what the time line will look like I am a bit lost on how to gauge the bar, dinner, and dancing. We're having our ceremony at 5pm there, and have chosen to have the fire dancers, house DJ, and LED dance floor. We were also going to have the preset lobster dinner with apps when people arrive. Any help would be super duper appreciated :)

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on here.  I'm planning for a late May 2014 wedding in DR.  I'm considering having either an on-site or off-site hotel wedding then a reception at Jellyfish.  Originally, we were set to get married in St. Lucia, but the flights were just crazy in cost and duration so we decided to change the location to the DR.  My eyes are going to fall out from all of the long hours of research I've been doing...lol.

Can someone also email me the 2014 price list to [email protected].  Thanks.

Good luck to you all in your planning :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
