I have a MP wedding booked for 3pm on May 28, 2011. I just did my group contract and blocked all my rooms.

There are a LOT of weddings planned for that day but due to family availability we had to go with that weekend. I'm working with a travel agent and she (and the contract) said that a WC will contact me 30 days prior to my wedding to set everything up. I'm a planner and waiting until 30 days before is going to drive me nuts!!!!! ANY IDEAS?

Hi May 28th, My fi and I are still discussing dates but we're thinking of the same week as you. So is it really that busy on the 28th and why are they only planning with you 30 days out? That woudl totally stress me out too.  Was it easy to book your date and block rooms? What TA are you using? I am thinking of using Destinationweddings.com to book everything.

Hello everyone! We were just confirmed for July 16th 2011!! I was planning on going with the complimentary package and then changed it to the diamond collection since it could use the 1500 vacation dollars towards it. Has anyone had the diamond collection? We booked directly through the hotel and things have been pretty easy so far!!

My fiance Luis and I are confirmed for July 23, 2011 !! Excitement!!! We have a huge guest list and are starting to pick things out with the resort...already have the Catholic Chapel on site and Star Ballroom confirmed

I'm happy to report that our WC coordinator has been assigned to us and has already contacted us!  This is a pleasant surprise because our date is March 12, 2011...and I was originally told that we wouldn't get an assigned WC until 3 months prior to that date.

Does anyone know if there are any included tours? Or is everything deducted from the $1500 Palace Passport? I would love to have a price list for the tours.

Sorry for the late response.  Have you made any more decisions?  I am unsure now about how I feel about destination weddings.  Experienced a lot of problems, how about you?
