Mini Tequila bottles - Playa Del Carmen

Hi ladies!

 

I am not sure if I put this in the right section or I should have put this in vendor section.

 

I am throwing the idea around for doing mini tequila bottles as a favor for our male guests but don't want to bring them to Mexico. I have not been to Playa Del Carmen so I am not sure if there are stores that sell them.

 

Any of you who have been there, do you know if they do sell them? I know other cities of Mexico do sell them, though.

I will keep you posted - my parents are in Mexico right now on vacation, this was one of the things I asked them to try to locate.

Lady Di - I'm also considering having these as favors. I'll be down near Cancun/Playa in a few weeks and will be checking out Costco and other places. I'll let you know if I find any. I'm sure they have to be sold *somewhere* and we'll find that place!

Hola Diana,

 

There are quite a few souvenir shops along 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen that sell miniature bottles of tequila. It starts from US$2 - $3 and up depending on the brand/packaging. You won't have trouble finding them.

Yeah Di yesterday i spent like freaking 30 min looking through spanish posts in the yahoo mexican forums and they all stated that you wouldnt have a problem finding these in any of the shops near Playa Carmen. Also they said that some of them had these really cute mexican hats on top of the bottle and they ranged from $2-$4 bucks each..
