I need a TTD dress!

Recommended Posts

I know many of you have bought a second dress for your TTD. I don't want to use my wedding gown for my ttd since it's going to be pretty heavy when it gets wet and I just don't want to ruin it. I also want to use the same ttd dress for my church wedding before we leave for mexico.

So my question is, what stores did you buy your second dresses from? I've looked in bloomingdales, macys, lord & taylor, etc. but haven't found anything yet. I don't want to spend more than $150-$200 bucks on another dress.

I did buy a second dress to trash. i got mine at Davids Bridal for $99.00. It's really nice and light weight. The only thing is I'm short so I got it hemmed and that was it. Totally know what you mean about wanting not destroy a fantastic gown.

I went cheap but nice:)

I'm actually waiting for "Prom" dresses to come out! They've already started to show up at stores around here since Prom is in April/May... the wedding is in June. So I plan to wait as long as possible so I don't have to have it altered. Hopefully their will be some white ones! Otherwise, I plan to hit David's Bridal. I refuse to spend more than $100. =)

What VS one are you getting? =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
