DON'T DRINK YOUR CALS! PERIOD! This includes juice people!! Milk's ok.
CUT OUT STARCHES! Pastas, white breads, potatoes. I know it sounds terrible, but the reason you crave them is because your body's sugar levels aren't balanced. Starch turns to sugar instantly when you eat it, spiking energy levels and making you feel satisfied. Never lasts though! Cutting them out will stop cravings and you'll start eating when you're actually hungry.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER! It'll help you feel satiated and you'll be less inclined to munch away.
Great tips! I can attest to ALL of these things working for me when I was actually doing them! :) Well I'm doing them again now too but it's tough, as expected.

manders, i can click on your ticker and it brings up the page where you would need to enter your PIN to make changes. so i guess you've got it right now!

i need to make a new ticker but it will have to wait until i get home and take my start weight. ugh.

Yup...after trying every freakin link-y thing they provide on the ticker page I found the right one! Fack...who knew it would be so difficult! LOL

So much to do this evening...I have to make time to send you a pic Tash...crapola...I may have to go with no pedi this week! Sorry for the foot grossness! lol

Oh...and what about next week. I'll be in El Salvador so I won't be able to weigh in. Is that cool? should I do a weigh in on sunday before I leave? Or just wait until the following week?

Hi ladies!

I'm onboard to lose the stubborn 10 lbs and tone up before my wedding! It's a lil bit tough because we got a puppy so i spend time with him after work since he's cooped up in the crate all day. i do take him on walks so that's some kind of exercise! Lol.

i used to do the shred 3-4times a week before we got the puppy two months ago. ahhh!!

Just sent my pictures in! Im so motivated!!! Which is something I havent seen in awhile, so running with it. LOL I did just watch last nights Biggest Loser eposide to....so Im sure that has left me with some inspiration. :)

I got this app for my phone called Lose It! Its so fun! Or maybe Im just a dork. I can log my weigh ins, exercise, and calories. It has this calorie budget bar, and as I log in through the day it tells me how much I have left for the day. And when I exercise it adds in those calories (which makes me really excited.LOL) Its fun. LOL I dont know if I necessarily agree with the calories allowed, so I adjusted it a bit.

My Problem:

Only have 30-60 minutes to exercise each day

Only interest in exercise lately seems to be yoga

Very sedentary lifestyle - some days I can spend 12 hours at a desk

Result: Only burn 150-300 calories per workout

Solution:

Add a 5 minute set of jump roping in to my schedule. This burns an extra 50 calories per set. I've managed to work up to

2 rounds:

6 minutes jump roping

15 push ups

30 crunches

An extra 150 calories burned

What's your problem/solution?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
