The oot bags I got last summer for $1 each at DollarRama...lol.  To be honest, they were perfect, I can inbox you a picture if you want.  I went with the survival kit (alcohol swabs, antibacteria, kleenex, bandaids, Tums, and advil).  Additionally I am doing iron-on transfers to t-shirts and a baseball cap for the men, I created the design using Powerpoint, to match my invitations, and just have to watch for the sale before buying the iron on paper for printing...I'll throw some snacks in closer to the time of travel, and we also plan to get on the island ahead of our guests,so we hope to find some island themed items down there to add in tooidea.gif.  Let me know if you need any more info...ie: contact for local printer/cardstock and so forth as you go about your planning.  Best of luck!!!

Hi!
I'm getting married at this resort in November 2013, I have been dealing with Chandlyn but I find that the details have been fairly vague. I sent her a list of questions but it takes so long to hear back. Does anyone know the details on the Private Dinner option?

I was looking into the renting the Piscis outdoor location for $1,700 but I was wondering what was included. I know a DJ is included in this price but is the meal or the open bar?

Thanks!

The meal is included as well as DJ for 4 hours. Drinks are served during dinner but not served after that. If you want to get the open bar that's an additional charge.

As with any of the wedding packages you'll have to pay the additional cost per person for each person you have over the max for whatever package you choose. That still applies with private dining options.

Chandlyn sent me the following:

Wedding Passes:

Please note that the cost for off-property guests to attend the wedding is US75 per person. A list of persons attending should be given to the co-ordinator during the wedding interview. Guests are allowed access to the property one hour before the wedding and can stay up to 10:30pm.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
