I totally understand right now I have 72 guest confirmed and booked to travel with us and there are still atleast 10 more that plan on booking with in the next month... and who know how many extras pop up last minute lol..... I stressed about it soo much that I can't even stress anymore I'm just going with the flow. Mind you my budget was based on 40 - 50 people doh.gif

Wow lrdavis23: 72 plus people! It sounds like a lot of people but it's also exciting to hear that so many guests are going to see you get married. Keep it simple and don't go too crazy on the small stuff. If people have food and drinks they will be merry!!

I'm getting a little nervous. My "deadline" for guests to pay their deposit is December 1 and no one has booked yet( besides FI and I). I know people wait until the last minute but this makes me so anxious. I'll just have to wait and see. I sent them the travel info in October and don't want to keep bugging people. We'll see what happens.

We just confirmed our date with the hotel and the STD went out to over 200 people. Don't ask! We are planning on 100 being there and I pray that the number stays at or below, but from reactions to the STD and our newsletter it seems that we'll be entertaining a good sized crowd in Mexico. Hang in there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
