well.....sans the whole pregnancy thing! Is it still called a shot gun wedding if there is no baby involved? ha.

 

so it looks like we are moving up the date tooooooo this DECEMBER.

 

i wish i could say i was the first to post this type of thing.....but FI's company just went under! GRAND!

 

we are pricing a few things to do something in town, but i am still holding on to the DW!! other than the courthouse - i STILL feel it will be cheaper. i will let you know if i prevail or not! hahahahaha.

 

i know it will all work out in the end but just had to post.

Sorry to hear about FI's company

I think you should still shoot for the DW- aside from being a cheaper wedding, it's also a built-in honeymoon and job or no job you cannot skip the honeymoon so this is clearly the best way to go

I agree - in the long run a DW can be much cheaper than a local one. Sorry to hear about the major changes but something better will come along.

You can totally plan a destination wedding in a couple months. When I was planning mine, I realized that my WC didn't book things until we were just a couple months away from our wedding. So I wouldn't stress and I' am sure it will be beautiful. :-)
