Hi Ladies,

My wedding is March 26, 2011 at IRHS. I emailed Nicole 3 weeks ago and still no response. I've called numerous times and left messages with no return phone call. I don't now what else to do...I have heard that wedding season ends after August.

If you have confirmed your wedding date don't sweat the other stuff. I know she is VERY busy but once your wedding is about 2-3 weeks away she starts responding overnight from what i have heard from others.

MsSmithtoBe,

Hey honey! I totally agree with you regarding the AC because I am afraid that my guest will melt. Even though the wedding is in November I was still very concerned about the heat. I decided to have the rehearsal dinner at the Steakhouse, but I am praying that there will be some kind of breeze since it is at 7:00.....lol

Hey Kimberly,

Please don't fret because Nicole really does have her hands full. From what I understand she also performs additional duties at the hotel . I was very concerned in the beginning and actually considered switching resorts because I thought it was so rude for her to ignore me, but I realized that I was being silly and she really is a sweet person....I promise you are making the right decision regarding having your wedding at the Suites, but you have to be patient with her. Also, it does not help that it is currently the peak of the wedding season. It will all work out!

Thanks Nikki for allaying some of my anxiety. She finally got back to me. I can understand her stress. I'm sure she deals with plenty Bridezillas and Groomzillas during the destination wedding process!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
