What are you doing with your dress AFTER the wedding?

Don't know if this thread already exists, but I would like to hear what you girls did with your dresses after the wedding? Or if not yet married, like me what do you plan on doing with your dresses? I'm planning on donating mine to a charity that supports breast cancer.

Donating the dress is a very good idea! I may hold on to it for a while....i have a feeling it'll be very hard to part with it ; ) Some girls are doing a TTD session in the same dress the day afterward.

For all you brides in Toronto, there is a place called "the bride's project". They take new and used donations and all proceeds go to women's cancer research.

They also have a website, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.

I was thinking about finding someone to make a quilt out of it, but I really like the idea of donating it to charity. One more decision

I wish I had known about the Brides Against Breast Cancer before I threw my old wedding dress in a donation bin just to get it out of my house. I would have liked to have known it went to a cause like that.

I am trashing my dress but i will clean it and donate it after that - I can't imagine using it for anything else.

im glad you have done this.i was wanting to do the exact same thing but i have,nt had chance to look into it.i did the race for life this year after my best friend was diagnosed so i will look into this as soon as get back.
