If you had more money left to spend on favors... say $20 pp... what would you give your guests?

Yankee Candle has a lot of tropical and island scents. I got small jars of the coconut for each of the guests, as well as a few "little" favors. I don't know anyone who doesnt love a Yankee candle!

Maybe a small basket of local favorites? Bottle of rum, spices, etc...

A nice picture frame. You may be able to work something out with your photographer and coordinator to have pictures of them printed and sitting by their bedside the evening of the reception.
You could also buy them a nice bottle of alchohol.

I agree- a bottle of a locally made liquor is nice- I saw the cutest kits from Martha Stewart where you can print out your own labels to affix to the bottles.

I would research items that are local.... items you can buy there and not have to transport yourself.... local art, ceramics, blankets, trinkets...something to remind your guests of your wedding.

I to would go with local items, it adds something special to the items, a keepsake as well as a special thank you.

For sure something unqiue to the area - not something they can get back home - keep it small, they may not have much room to bring stuff back.

Like everyone else I would go with a small token from the local area. Thank you ladies I have been thinking of what to get my sisters & mother who can not attend.
