I did customized towels via towels 4 less. The quality was good. I went with the cheapest towels they offer. So, they were basic, but nice. I had them embroider them with one of thier basic, standard designs with just "Jamaica" underneath. I figured they would make good souvenirs for my guests. A couple of them used them for off-resort tours.

We got beach towels as a favor when we went to a DW as a guest and we loved them! They were bigger than the hotel ones, and it was easy to spot guests. And we use them all the time now. I would do it but we are having too many people and I am worried about space.

Old Navy had some on sale a few weeks ago for like $2.50 or $3.

OMG good idea with the space bags! I never thought of that! I received our towels yesterday and they look awesome! We ordered the embroidered velour towels with palm trees on it and Runaway Bay, Jamaica with our wedding date. We did not put our names on them so our guests can reuse them after this trip. We used towels 4 less and they were great to work with.

I didn't have much luck finding beach towels locally at this late date, but ordered some really cute ones from Bed, Bath and Beyond for $7.99 each. They were bright colors and had one row of starfish embroidered across them. I also ordered some striped ones from Target, 2 for $12.99. I haven't received them yet, but plan to have the location embroidered on them, possibly the date. We're only having 11 guests and didn't want to buy very many. I also bought some really nice beach bags at Walmart for just $5.00 last week. They came in multiple colors, some solid and some stripe. I went to a couple of Walmarts and they each had a very good supply.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
