I'm getting married at the Moon Palace on Oct 23rd and am also having a private function.  Depending on where you have your event will depend on fees (for instance, we're having our reception at the Carribean terrace and paying a $350 fee for that plus a $50 set up fee plus the $460 per table) if you have a reception at one of their typical terraces then you don't pay the $350 fee, just the $50 fee and $460 per table--this $460 includes food and drinks so that portion is not additional.

I do know there is a fee for any terrace that does not have handicap access. Which seems weird until you consider the fact that handicap access means easier access for set up.  Not actually having to do with accomodating physically handicap guests.  If you have a beach reception there is also an additional fee per person as well but it's fairly minimal.

I am under the impression that includes food and drinks and you get to choose from their menu's like the unlimited group gathering plans.

131 guests booked and 54 rooms... Cancun here we come!

I'm new the the forum and still shopping around for a resort and having a very hard time deciding!

I love the palace resorts, but my big question is: if you have a private reception does the $400 per table you're charged include food/drinks or is the meal and bar charged extra? I've spent hours hunting around to find this answer and I can't seem to figure it out. It seems at a lot of hotels you're charge per head or per table for the set up, and then you need to bay $40-$60 per person for the meal.

I am having my wedding at Moon Palace Resort Cancun from my understanding it's per table $400 and that includes everything.

http://www.divineorderphotography.com/ I love his work and the prices are very reasonable specially for Destination Weddings...

Im getting married at MP cancun as well and yes the $400 includes food and drinks and you get to choose what you want from the menu as well. I believe they'll only allow one choice of entree but you can persuade them to let you have 2 options available.

The fees depend on where you have the wedding or events and how many people or rooms you have or will have. If you have 25 rooms or 75 room nights then you can get unlimited private functions but they try to get you with all the fees of the locations and they pay for your room! I am not sure if I'll meet the requirements but I'm really close right now.
