What to wear at my Bridal shower??

The real catch here is that my bridal shower will be the last weekend in January and they wait to have a tropical theme. Its a little odd if you ask me to have a tropical theme party in the middle of winter, but I am going with the flow, because they are nice enought to give me a shower. So the question is what do I wear? Can I wear a white dress? Can I wear jeans, a nice blouse and heel? I am just a little unsure!?!?!?!?

I would ask the hostesses about the dress code. Some are super cas and you can wear jeans and some people may feel offended and want you the wear a dress.

I just wore a skirt and nice blouse..but it was the end of June.

Oh yes it will be inside. I don't like cold weather at all. Thats for sure!

you could always wear a Lilly P. dress, they make tropical dresses that have sleeves..... really cute.

yeah I'd wear a dress...as long as it is inside you should be fine...then you can just wear a coat there.

I have the same dilemma! I think we should just grin and bear it with a cute dress regardless of the weather!

You have it alot worse then I do, I am so sorry for you. We don't get snow down here. So if you can grin and bear then I really should be able to.

I think you should wear a cute dress too - plus the cold is nothing that a glass of champers or two cant fix!

i agree about drinking off the cold! or um, tea or coffee would do it too, lol

 

i wouldn't wear jeans but a cute dress or nice pants and top should be fine. i think winter is the perfect time to do a tropical theme ... it will get everyone all in the mood and excited for your wedding!
