We did not have one. My sister was in charge of the guest book, so the few card we got were just given to her. It worked out fine.

I never thought about how it looks to have a card box. I did purchase one but that is because I know lots of people said they were not buying gifts but were giving us cards. I dont expect a gift though. Hmmmm not sure what I will do

I'm not having a card box because I'm not expecting any cards. I guess I'll have my mother hold onto them as well if we happen to get any.

No card box for us. I'm doing what karly did, and just have one person in charge of the guestbook, and the guests can hand a card to her if they have one. I feel bad enough that people will be spending so much on the trip...

I'm finding that a ton of people are sending gifts ahead of time, so I don't think it'll be an issue.  Maybe put a bridesmaid in charge of collecting them somewhere?

A card box is something I have not even thought about before.  We are encouraging our guests not to bring gifts to Jamaica with them, but rather if they insist, giving us our gift when we return back to Canada, so I'm not sure we will use a card box.  I might just appoint someone to be in charge of them and keep track if there are some.
