My First Dress Fitting

I love the dress, probably because it reminds me of mine - I agree with the other girls that you don't need a sash - but if you are set on it - I would go with one that sets you apart from everyone else.

Ok so I showed my dress to a co-worker and she too says no sash. What about changing the laces in the back to a colour? Royal blue or aqua? I was really set on having a colour element in the dress but now I'm not so sure.

I like it w/o the privacy panel too. Personally I think it's perfect as is, but if you really want the blue strings it's your day & you should go for it.

 

If you're not sure, you could add some color with maybe a blue hair accessory or blue shoes

Thanks for the ideas Karen and the links too. Love the sexy, strappy shoes. It seems like another dress fitting is in order so I can take pictures of it every which way and my my decission from there.

I like it without the sash also...if I had to choose I'd go with off white though

I would vote no sash because the back is so pretty by itself and I myself wouldn't cover it up. Maybe you could have the sash just be across the front and instead of tying in the back, just have it sewn on each side of the corset? Or what about doing the color as the tie for the corset?

I'm on the no-sash wagon too! But yes, if I had to chose I would stick with the off-white...I like the suggestion about switching them up between the ceremony and the reception though. Good luck!
