Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and we're planning to get married in June 2010. We know we want the location to be in Hawaii but we haven't decided which island yet, so any advice on which island to choose would be very appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Nicole! I love Hawaii!! I have family in Hilo. The big island is fairly slow paced. Maybe more country than anything. Oahu is where all the hustle bustle is, plenty of tourist. Maui i think is a mixture of both. Hope this helps. Happy Planning!

Congrats and welcome! I agree that if you want some touristy stuff and a beautiful setting that Maui is great. Oahu is way to touristy for me!

Welcome and congrats!! I have several friends who were married in Kauai, they say it was very serene and gorgeous for their wedding. Their pictures definitely showed that. Good luck and happy planning.
