I love the luminarias idea for the place cards... how are you setting your tables up?!? Centerpieces and such and are these going to be on the table beforehand? or are they having table numbers on them?

My colors are tiffany blue, orange, brown and white with Starfish. We are getting married in Jamaica on 9-10-11 so I wanted everything bright and tropical. Everyone listed below was beyond AMAZING to work with, I love each of them. Here are my Etsy finds:

I hate real flowers, I think they are such a waste of money for something that will die so I knew I wanted real touch and also so that I could keep them without going through the hassle of preserving them..

I am doing something very minimal for the tables cape. I'm not into a bunch flowers, candles and stuff. So I found these shallow aqua colored starfish bowls and I am going to set taller luminaries on them that have the table numbers on them. Then on each place setting will be the small luminary with each persons name. The on site wedding coordinator is going to set all this up for me. We ordered battery operated tea lights to go under the luminaries. I did do a seating chart for our 3 tables and since we only have 30 people and 3 tables I'm sure it wont be a problem with people finding their name.

Thank you! I will be sure to post pics. The minimal the better for me. I hate anything overly done and I am soooo not a DIY'er, lol. Etsy has been amazing, if I can pay someone to do it I will, haha.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
