I haven't transported them to the wedding, since it's in October still.

I know most gals order the rafia fans because of the packability, but I really liked the white ones! Though when the vendor sent them to me there didn't seem to be a problem with packing them as they lay pretty flat. I ordered a couple to see if I liked them and that is one of the "mock ups." I'm going to send the bulk of the fans straight from the vendor to my accommodating wedding coordinator and assemble them in Hawaii (I'm precutting the ribbon and such). I only have to make about 35 of 'em, so it shouldn't be toooo bad.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. :)

The Glassine #4 Envelopes I used are 3 1/4 inches x 4 7/8 inches.

The #3 Envelopes are 2 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 inches, which are just the size of a Kleenex tissue from their travel packs. They were too tight a squeeze for me. I wanted to just be able to stick the tissue into the envelope without fuss!

I'm also thinking about getting some orange floral design tissues from the Tissue Store instead of using plain white.

The Tissue Store for pocket tissues hankies sniffs

Still thinking on these.

If I had known about dafont.com and — iDiY before I had made my Tears of Joy packets, I would have made my own label. Since then, I've gotten sticker crazy and have been creating my own! The Staples sticker paper is great!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
