What Country is best?

So I have known that I have always wanted a beach wedding and luckily my fiance agrees :)

So he proposed this weekend and now we are trying to decide what country.

Our good friends are getting married in Mexico this fall so that country is out.

We would like somewhere that has affordable flights from CO, KY, and Philly...I know I am making this hard...lol

Kids will be invited and we were thinking all inclusive since quite a few people will be using this as a vacation and that will be better for everyone.

So if anyone has any suggestions on countries and hotels I would greatly appreciate the help!

Probably April of 2010?

Thanks and happy wedding planning,

Laura

Hi Laura! For info on the cheapest flights, you may want to contact one of our forum Travel Agents. They would be able to help you best choose a destination with inexpensive flights. As for which hotel to choose, it will depend a lot on your preferences and budget. We have several different sections for the most popular destinations (Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Cruise Weddings), so feel free to browse or use the search feature to read up on specifics.

Congratulations Laura and welcome to the forum! I know it's hard to choose a location with so many great countries and cities to select from. Have you traveled to any beach towns with your fiance before you got engaged? If so, that could be a great place to start. As Sapphire723 said, there are many different locations detailed throughout this forum such as Jamaica, Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, etc. Also, remember, Mexico is a huge country so you could choose a spot that's very different from your friend's wedding.

It can be challenging to select a location but it can also be a lot of fun as well. Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
