Not at all, I was thinking of going a bright coral/orange color.

One of my biggest pet peeves of brides is when they don't look like themself on their wedding day.. Like they get a prom do-even though they never wear their hair up, or wear a ton of makeup-when usually they go natural.. so if you normally wear red, then wear red, its you!!

Because MOST brides do a French and I usually do a French, I was thinking I'd use my nails as my "Something Blue" opportunity... OPI has this really pretty color called "Moon over Mumbai" it is a really light blue-ish grey color.

No matter what...remember it's YOUR day... It may be your last chance to Do what EVAH you wanna!

yael- I love the idea of red!

Something to think about.. what color is your bouquet? I only ask because if you have lots of orange then it may clash a bit in photos but if you have reds, whites, yellows and greens I think it would look gorgeous. (but.. maybe i'm a little picky ?.)

I always wondered why everyone gets a french on their wedding day. Is it cause it looks "pure" or something? I like french manicures when I have a tan- which I will- so I may either do that or a pink but not super pale.

I agree with all the other previous posts! if it is YOU to do red... do it girl!

Myself, I am a french manicure queen, I never leave home with out it, and i love my toes painted in hot hooker reds and wild crazy pinks! my toes were HOT pink on my wedding day OPI "charged up cherry" they looked too cute with my teal blue dancing shoes!

Yael I love the idea of doing colorful nails! Red would be smokin hot. I might just do pale pink for my nails but my toes I think I'm going to do pink with black polka dots on them :) I always strive to be different so why should my wedding be any different?! wink.gif

DO IT!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
