I just wanted to share my most recent find!  I found these waterproof camera cases that I'm going to add to some of my bags.  I think they are pretty neat and may be useful for the week for the pool-bar folks!

 

 

 

 

I've become a little obsessed with the OOT bags and will post a detailed overview of my stash soon!

I bought one off ebay (just to try) I found it hard to use my camera. Whenever I would turn on my camera, the lens would come out and auto close as soon as it hits the plastic. It is managable...with patience!!

I ordered them off ebay as well.  They were $1.70 each.

I really like the idea of the camera cases but at the same time a little terrified of someone's camera getting wrecked. I mean how much protection can there be for $1.70. Wish I knew how well they worked

I bought one of these pouches last year at my local dollarama - I never used it for my camera, but had lots of other things in it and nothing got wet.  I think they were $2 when I got mine last spring.

Good thoughts! Maybe they'll warrant a "use at your own risk" label!

 

I believe that there are multiple folds that need to happen to prevent water from getting in.....perhaps this would need to be done prior to heading to the pool bar at the beginning of the day versus after someone has indulged a little bit
