CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

How are you ladies going to get all the stuff to the resorts? It seems like a lot to carry.... would it be ridiculous to have some stuff shipped?

I was in Michael's today and cam across some great passport covers. They were $5.00 and came in all kinds of colors. I will be putting these in my bags instead of a tracel mug. Everyone I know has more than one and does not need another, besides I don't think everyone will have one of these but they will sure use them as they will be using their passports anyway!

 

As to how will get it there. We are upgraded so we will have a bigger luggage allowance and I will also be enlisting the help of my mom, HOM and BM. I figure between us we should be able to get it all down there. The biggest thing is the bags (and they fold flat). So far the heaviest is the hand sanitizer. The oddest shaped is the flip flops.

We finally decided to do OOT bags!! At first we had decided not to do them but after reading this thread I realized that we don't have to spend so much $$$ on them. I'm so excited now !!SO THANK YOU LADIES

just one question....when do you girls plan on handing out your OOT bags?

Ladies party packagers has really big beach bags with a zipper closure for only $1.99. The are great for the beach they are two toned with three suns on the front. You could easily personalize them by ironing on your own momgram, logo, imprint.

 

I will be handing out my oot bags as people arrive. Hopefully just after they have unpacked. Maybe the first night when we greet everyone.

We're thinking of having a get together before we go and giving them out then. I'm not sure, I'd love to give them out at hotel but concerned about having to travel with it down.

We arrived on Sunday and had a welcome dinner that night in which we handed out 95% of the bags (since most ppl arrived the same day we did). I just handed out the last few to ppl indiv as they arrived. In terms of shipping thing there - I would check with your resort and also be weary that anything can be held up at customs .. so it may never make it to the hotel.

Hey Ladies, I have 20 wicker-style beach mats that FI and I have decided not to use. Let me know if anyone is interested.

 

In Calgary is best, as they are in a pretty big box and a little pricey to ship.

We will be arriving at the resort a day before all of the guests so I'd love to give the OOT bags to the hotel and have them place the bags in the guests rooms before they arrive. Do you think this is possible?

I am looking to buy the vitamin supplement called Emergen-C. I am doing a sort of hangover bag and it is supposed to be a good to mix with water to replenish your electrolytes. It comes in packets in a lot of flavours and also helps if you just need a pick me up. I live in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, so if you know where let me know! Thanks!
