I haven't seen lot chiffon dresses replicas, do you think the "flow" would be good? While I love traditional gowns, they are not enough "beachy" for me. Many of Maggie Destinations are made of chiffon, and I love how it floats around in the pics. I fell in love with this one ( SD5238 ). I could probably pay full retail (not so expensive), but I don't have the time, so my only choice is a replica. I just want it to have the same "grace", what do you think?

hello everyone. I have ordered a lace gown from them and I should be getting it at the end of this month.. so as soon as I receive it I will surely tell you and show you how it turns out!

As far as the chiffon dress by Maggie, I'm sure it would be pretty easy for them to duplicate. Good luck to all of you! I hope I love the dress when it gets here because I am out of time to order from a bridal store around me!

A girl on this site (RachelRaye-spelling could be wrong, but she has posted in this thread) had a Maggie dress replicated. It turned out beautifully. It was also chiffon. I believe she even had the dress up for sale on this site.

Have you tried off the rack? Maybe a bridal store carries your size and you wouldn't have to alter it so it would be ready in time for your April wedding.

Thanks, I've checked Rachel's dress and it is pretty nice. Anyway, I don't know how I could be disappointed when I haven't even tried on one of those 1000$ dresses!

And there are no bridal stores carrying Maggie Destination around here, I'd have to drive down to the States 2h, or in another city 3 hours. Maybe I could just call them to see if I can at least try it on, but we have so much to do here right now (big DIY house reno), I just don't know...

This is so much work. I thought you could just go and buy dresses off the rack!

I posted in here a while back about getting my replica dress. I was torn once I received it, but ended up wearing it on my wedding day. LOVED IT! I just got my pro pictures back (one is in my siggie). Ill try and post a link tomorrow so you can see an up close picture of it :)

It was a replica of a sottero & midgley dress :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
