Hello: Just wondering if all of you ladies would mind telling me where to find some of these sellers.  I spoke with a few already, Bigday dress, babyonline from DHgate, and what I believe was called Daushong (it's written in chinese.) I am trying to find the sellers mentioned in our posts  with the names:

Jasmine

Monica

Gianinar- I think this is e-bay

THANK YOU in advance

I received my dress from Giannarbridal a couple of weeks ago... they did a great job!! It's exactly what I'd asked for and fits perfectly.  Looking at some of the inside seams it's apparent that it's not a $1500 dress, but from the outside it looks great and I'm happy with the results. I'm going to TRY to get a photo posted ASAP, but the fiance is always around and I can't tie it up myself. Haha.

Hey Ladies.  I checked with vipweddingdresses.com and they said they'd be able to make my dress for $380 and I'm still waiting to hear from babyonline. Does anyone know if babyonline provides pic while they are making the dress?  It's so hard to decide which company to go with!

I just logged into my babyonline account to send an email to inquire if they would be emailing me pictures soon (order was placed 15 days ago, and they quoted me 15 days), and found the status as "waiting shipment". I'm going to be so annoyed if they ship it without sending pictures as I was very clear about this.

Just had a reply, so quick!! This is what they said :

Dear Joanne,

Yes, of course, before shipment, we will send you the pictures, please do not worry.

The dress is not finished yet, it will be finished within this week, then we will send you the picture within this week.

Is it ok?

Sincerely

babyonline

OK so I feel better now. I will post the pictures once I get them, and will follow up with more pictures once the dress arrives.

I would definitely say if you want great communication, then go with babyonline. Monica Bridal is very difficult to understand/communicate with, even though they make great dresses too!

So I am doing my "dream wedding" (although technically it's a renewal) in Jan.  I tried on Vera Wang's one shoulder mermaid at DB and loved the cut, however, wanted changes.  So after long thought I decided to go with ginanar bridal.  It bothered me a bit that they wouldn't go through ebay and that the photos would only come after 30-40 days, however, I paid with paypal and used the feedback here to help ease my tensions.

So here I am day 44, no pics, no emails.  Finally a response, ...3-5 more days.  That means paypal will be of no help bc it is outside of their 45 day policy.  The very next email after I told them that I would put in for resolution help with paypal but still want the dress and when I get the pics I will pay the balance no problem....

I received this,....

thanks for your email because this is our busy season, dress making always delayed, sorry   we have stopped your dress making and refunded your deposit   thanks and best regards

Hope others don't have this problem but now I am on the hunt again for my dress!!!  What a disaster every company I have tried to deal with has been!

That sounds horrible!! Thanks so much for posting this so I can at least take them off of my list of possible vendors to work with.  Best of luck with your search...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
