My OOT Bags~ the big hits and the things that weren't used

Recommended Posts

oooh i think this is a great idea! I have read a few places that people love the underwater cameras! I'd guess hit! If we had fewer guests (or if i could find them for cheap), I'd definitely do it!

Thanks to this thread, I don't think I had any real "misses". It was more things that got used and things that didn't. Overall, I think my guests were just so surprised and delighted that we even had the bags for them. They all thought it was a really nice thing for us to do.

Things that got used at the resort

The bag itself

Puzzle book - purchased from the dollar store - had suduko, word search and crossword puzzles

Hand Sanitizer

Lip balm

Pen and notepad

Sand molds - for the kids only

Things that were liked but not used:

Magnet - ordered from Vistaprint using a picture I took when we were in Jamaica in January

Kleenex

Luggage tags

First aid kits

Beach towels

Travel mugs

Deck of cards

Thanks for the great info everyone! I will pass it onto my mom who has hijacked my OOT bag making! She is so excited to make them and has already bought way to much for the kids who are going. Each of the children is getting their own bag and than the adults will get one per family or couple. I will make sure to tell you all the hits and misses.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
