Is TTD worth the money?

Recommended Posts

I have to agree with all the other posts. THe one thing I regret about our wedding is that we didn't do a TTD session. BUt for us is was about budget. IMO If you had the money, I'd spend the extra $400.00 and go off resort. For me, I would feel weird having everyone stare at me, as I'm in the water at the resort, plus I bet she knows of an awesome location that would be perfect. I think the price is a little high, however with that said, I'd rather spend the extra money on someone I know I'd be pleased with. knowing.

I would 100% say that the money you spend on the TTD is worth it! Our TTD pictures are some of our most favorite pictures.

My mom was 100% against the TTD... until she saw the pictures, and now some of the TTD pics are her favorite too.

So I vote, if you have the money you should definitley do it!

I agree. If you are comfortable with the money, you should do it. Or find a different photog that is within your budget (maybe share or have family do it)

I am borderline plus size but haven't always been. I was very uncomfortable with my body prior to the wedding. I still am, but it was my wedding, so I felt extra stress.

I can honestly say that I felt beautiful for my wedding and TTD. Not only do I have great memories and pictures that will last forever, but the feeling and belief in myself that I was pretty again was worth it.

Like some others have said, I actually like my TTD pics better than a lot of my wedding pics. My DH wasn't down with the idea so I did it alone. I felt the session was rather empowering.

I am so glad we did ours! We have some amazing pictures that people keep telling us should be in a magazine. We were very lucky though. One of our friends is a professional wedding photographer and we flew her out (used airlines miles) and put her and her husband in a room for a week for less than $1K. She was with us all day on the wedding day and then for 2 hours doing TTD the next day. The normal cost for a package like what we did would have been $4K - $5, so we definitely lucked out.

I say do it. You only get married once and these pictures will definitely be worth it.

I think that is a great price and TOTALLY worth it! You're right... it's a once in a lifetime chance and you don't want to regret not doing it. Do it if you can :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
