You aren't kidding! This video had me in tears. We had only been engaged 5 weeks when we found out my cancer was back. Though my wedding will be nothing like that as it is believed my cancer is gone, it totally reminds me how lucky I am to be marrying my best friend who has been my rock through two rounds of cancer treatment now. Oh, and my fiance is Nick (same as in the video). I'd like to believe this is why I'm not nervous or stressed about the details of our big day!

Hello ladies! Thank you for responding to me a few days ago.

 

We finally booked our two weeks wedding/honeymoon! I emailed N, and now I'm just waiting to hear back from her, and get lots of questions answered.

 

Like some of you, I have been to EPM and ERC! And I loved them both! And I would do EPM even with slow responses. It's not only gorgeous place but my fiance proposed to me on that beach, not far from where we are going to have our ceremony! EPM will always be a special place for us. I know what to expect over there, and I'm super excited. If any of you would like to see more pictures of this resort, let me know. I have them on my fb.

 

What is everyone doing for music? Is there ipod dock/speakers? I'm not sure if we can justify a DJ, since I think he runs $1,200?

 

I can't wait to see everyone's pictures!

We are using the DJ and the price I have on my planner check list I received from N says $900.  I have tried to convince my FI to just use an iPod but he refuses!

Oh how long ago did you get this quote from N? I will have to ask her and double check. I like that price a lot better than the one I had in my head. I'm pretty sure that other price is what I was quoted from N last year when I was looking into ERC. But things could have changed.

Hi Ladies!

 

I am gettin gmarried at EPM on Nov 17th 2012!  At least I think I am...I have been workin gwith a coordinator named Lleny Gomez.  It is taking her forever to confirm the date and time and I see everyone on here is working with a coodnator with the initial N.  Am I the only one working with Lleny or are there other brides out there with the same coodinator??

Just when I thought everything was going great, my heart is broken.

 

We have yet another wedding coordinatior, Lleny Gomez, and she emailed me to tell me that she has NONE of my wedding details and she was asking questions that were answered 8 months ago!! I dont even know what to do, I am sitting here at work so incredibly upset :(

 

She said she has read through all of my emails and she has none of my information on file other than a few emails to and from Gustavo from months ago, she said she doesnt have any of my coordinations with N...

 

Does anyone have a US number for them that I can call?? I am in severe panic mode now.

Can you forward her all of the emails you have? This way she can just read them and get caught up. If you have them printed insead of saved on your computer maybe you could just scan them in and send it as an attachment highlighting the important parts?

Thank you so much girls!!

 

I am just going to call and handle this directly. I know I can get her the info, its not forever gone... Its just the frustration of having to gather all of the information all over again and try to get on the same page with yet another WC. I finally got everything in order with N and felt really good about it and then this! Its just wedding stress and I shouldnt freak out this much but its just getting down to the wire and having them email and tell me that she read everything and doesnt have any of my details saved. Its kind of heartbreaking.

 

Whew.

 

Breathing...

 

Calling... Wish me luck!!

 

Thanks again for reminding me to breathe, it is getting a little hectic!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
