there are only 3 gifts i really want: 1 is the Sony Reader. its like a ipod, only the size of a very small paperback book, and its only for books. you download them and it can hold a bunch of books, instead of carrying around a couple on vacation you can have a whole library!

another thing i'd really like is a car stereo for my new car, it only came with the crappy stock one.

and hte 3rd thing i woulndt mind is an upgraded wedding band, but i dont think its quite time yet haha, only been a few months :)

OK I think I have a pretty boring list, but not sure we will exchange gifts this year. We are debating getting each other a plasma for our bedroom. Other then that we might just save money for a trip or of course if all else fails, I really want a new camera Lens and camera bag. :-)

any of the books on my "want to read" list that is currently on the computer desktop. I'm constantly adding to it, so even when I get a new book (or two or three) it never seems to get smaller. The ones I want most right now are The Host by Stephenie Meyer and Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult.

Aside from those I'd be happiest with time to sit by the fire with a hot chocolate and the hubby.

We are cutting back on Christmas this year too. Total of $200 each...$100 for gift & $100 for stocking. I have no idea what I will ask for, once we get in the house I'm sure I"ll find something!! Maybe a nice robe for getting in & out of the new hot tub!!! :)

I plan on getting FI an engraved liquor canistor with matching glasses. They have them at KegWorks (online) for about $100.

I really need winter clothes so bad! It would be a great christmas present for me since I hate shopping so much. I think a moth got into my closet at my old apartment because all of my old sweaters have little moth holes in them. So it's like starting a winter wardrobe from scratch.

We dont normally bother with gifts for each other - we always prefer spending more money on our family. But this year I really want to get a gucci purse...wanted one for too long and now we have a wee bit of spare money, i'm thinking i'll go for it! present to myself!hee hee

h2b really wants one of the new macbook pro's - and what h2b wants, he normally gets! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
