real vs fake flower in hair?

I would use only real ones. They look much better and natural plus these days florists can make them last longer, they have ways

Fake. With the heat, real may wither quickly. You want it to last throughout the day.

I think I'm going fake.  But I so agree with @jackielemman  I am worried it won't look the same in person as the Etsy picture (which, of course, always look fabulous).

Personally I haven't really looked into hairstyles for my wedding day, but I did know that I always wanted a flower in my hair.  I think I'd use fake flowers because they're going to look the same all day (not wilt).  Also they might be easier for the hair stylist to do my hair.  Also, I get to keep it as a keepsake afterwards.  But the Biggest reason for me is that hopefully no bees or other bugs will come near me if the flower is fake.

I ordered a fake white orchid from amazon for a couple of dollars just to see how it would look, and I love it-

 

My mother nearly kicked my can when she found out that I even thought about using fake flowers, but I'm still thinking about using it.

 

Real flowers have a tendency to wilt throughout time- especially when they are right next to your face! (at least that is what I have been told)
