I made a card for MOH (borrowed the saying inside, made a slight change to the inscription), bought a mini bottle of tequila, and gave her a starfish necklace to wear on the day of the weding, along with alittle card inside the box that tells her what the starfish represents. I just mailed it on Tuesday to her - so I am excited to see what she thinks when she gets it on Friday.

I got these made from "artsyash101" on etsy.com! I figured since we were having a destination wedding a piggy bank would be an appropriate way to ask my bridesmaids I am also including this poem:

 

Pack up your bags
Lets head to the beach
Have a drink and some sunscreen
Well within reach

The crystal blue waters
The warm Mexican sun
A wedding in paradise
A week full of fun

In just sixteen short months
I'll be a "destination" bride.
Nothing would make me happier
Than to have you (name) by my side.

neat ideas!  i bought books on clearance at winners called "how to be bridesmaids" and then wrote in the front covers . .   handed the girls the book upside down..
