Sorry to have to bring this up but I am curious if any of the brides to be? Allyson779 or Gowiththeflow know about the service cap of 4 hours.  Did Rebeca mention this to you?

Eg have our service at 4 till 4:30, then service would be from 4:30 -8:30 after that????Lauren, Autumn did you have a problem with this?

Hmmmm... We got the Ultimate package because of all the little extras that kept popping up with the other packages and al a carte options. So unfortuantely I can't speak to the 4 hour time limit with the Love package. All I know is that we were strickly cut off at 10:30 pm and everyone just went to the lobby bar to finish the evening.

The only thing I moved around was the flowers that were included in the package. I think we got an arrangement for the ceremony table and one for the head table included in the package. But I actually used my bouquet as the head table arrangement, moved the "ceremony table" flowers to a regular table and used the "head table included" at a regular table. The other 3 regular tables had candles and a picture frame as the centerpiece. That's obviously not the same as switching make up with flowers, but they were pretty laid back... doesn't hurt to at least ask.

I have some exciting news! Dazzling Details will start to offer handmade invitations this year, and to promote them, they were holding a contest to win 50 free! We won!  You can see the invites at http://sealitwithspice.blogspot.com/  They are the natural elegance.  There are more contests, so if you still need invites, check it out!  This is an awesome start to the weekend. We still have not received our engagement pics (they are past due per the contract), but at least we have invites!

I only got one small thing switched/transferred.... I am also not using dreams for my make-up (and hair). Rebeca allowed me to "transfer" those service to someone else.  So my FI's sister will get  her hair and make up done.

We are!  We had 25 people switched from mexicana to american the friday before they filed for bankruptcy.  They had switched our direct to a layover in mexico city.  What luck!!!  But we still have 2 couple flying it.  Anyone know what they can do?  Do they get a refund?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
