MARACAS are a great idea! - We worked with a bride a couple of weeks ago who did Maracas - Her guests had SO much fun with them... They were a great party favour - and really livened up the party! We got some really fun shots for her wedding video too!

 

Hers were just plain but I think painting the name and date is a great idea so they can be used as a souvenier... Be warned though... some of them will break during the reception as your guests start to get wild!!!

Thank you so much for all of the info and the paint pen is an exceptional idea! Thanks for the thought and if I cannot find marachas in mexico now - I'm useless! haha

 

Note to self: buy extras!!!!

Yeah - they are all over the place and there are lots of different sizes and materials that they are made out of. We got a black one with silver/white embelishments on it while we were there in Feb for our flower girl to turn upside down and use as her basket (she will have fushia petals in it!) It is a childs size (made to fit a 9-12 year old according to the man we got it from) and it cost us $15.00 (after a little negotiation.) There were others that we not as nice of quality / materials that we less $

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
