I went up to the DJ booth to make sure he could embarass our B2B. That kinda backfired. The booth is up these steep wooden stairs that someone just threw together with no light or hand rail.

 

I made it to the lat two then managed some tuck and roll type thing. There is a row of banquet seating against the wall facing the stairs.

 

I popped up like Molly Shannon, (may have even saluted the judges) and told the people who were sitting there that they didn't just see that. I think my exact words were, "iss h'ok. I broke mysef but shhhhh! youdinnaseemeeeee!"

 

I had a few more shots to dull the pain. It worked.

I feel your pain though. I did that in March for a friends B party. Except it was a bar below the street so I feel down the stairs that led to the entrance.
