Can't Get BM Dress in Time... HELP!!! PLEEEASE!!!

So, I have a bridesmaid that wasn't going to be able to make my wedding because she was supposed to be in Ireland with her family. Plans changed so she booked her trip to Cancun last week. She has been calling dress shops and the actual manufacturer of the dress and the fastest anyone can get one is 6 weeks... my wedding will be over!! I've checked ebay and craigslist but nothing there... I don't know what to do!! She could just go and get a dress of the same color but the dress is a weird teal/jade color and it could look really bad against the other dresses. AND my other bm dresses aren't arriving for a few more weeks so she wouldn't have anything to really compare it to until about a week before the wedding. I didn't actually pick a specific dress so it SHOULD make it easier, I just picked the designer and color but I'm still at a loss.

I don't know what to do!! Any ideas would be super super appreciated or if anyone can find me a size 6 Alfred Angelo dress in jade I would love you forever!!!

That is a hard color to match if your not buying it from that designer. I seen they had an option for rush delivery, will that not come in time? How many BM do you have and what are your colors? Maybe she could wear something that matches your colors.

You could buy one right off the rack....I was at a bridal store a while back that has alfred and in that color...call them. I know its in Kansas, but I think that they could send it quickly. Here is the site miasbridal.com

I was going to say the same thing - there are 2 Alfred Angelo stores in San Antonio...call them both and see if they have a size 6 on the rack in jade (any style)....you may need to sweet talk them, but i bet if you call around to them, you may get a break. It won't be the same style, but at least the color will be a match. Good Luck!!!!!

Try this site -- and just ask which AA dress styles they have already -in stock- and in Jade (you can get it altered if it's a bit too big).

 

And definitely GO to any bridal salons locally and just ask what they might have on the rack that's AA in Jade and worry about size after you find a dress. I know there is one out there for her!

I agree, I would go and see what AA jade size 6 and up they have on the rack. If it's too big she can just alter it. Good luck!!

If you can't find one in Jade, is there an accent color you could use?

 

You can also order a fabric swatch in Jade. A local bridal store should be able to give you one. That way she could go ahead ans start shopping...

Oh and I found out that she is a size 8, not a 6 (just in case anyone finds anything!)
