Warning ROR!

Recommended Posts

Yes you will definitely have to buy him a day pass. From all of the posts on here, you might also get suckered into paying the $200 "loss of sales" fee since the hotel isn't making any money from your photographer staying there. I'm not sure whether that makes you more of a target, but it's something to keep in mind!

Is that really legal for the resort to make you pay a fee for a service w/ the photoshop that I don't have a contract with? It just seems very idiotic to me to simply give away 200 bucks b/c the photographers there are not cooperating based on logic... [sorry just real pissed that this may be an issue]

Has this happened to other photographers?

Seeing as how the bride who hired Robin had full clearance ahead of time to bring an outside photographer and things still went crazy, I would think it would be a good idea to bring the incident to the wedding planners attention. Letting them know that you know of incidents like that carry a lot more weight than just asking the basic question. Know what I mean?

Very helpful post ladies. I friend of mine wanted to get married there and was going to do a site visit while in JA for my wedding. I think she has now changed her mind reading this plus having 80% of the wedding party staying at the hotel. Too many policies! With Iberostar Rose Hall Suites you just have to get a usual Day pass or wedding pass for photog or extra guest

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
