    Hey Trish,
We booked our group back in April and we paid for one week $1769 from Vancouver and $1669 for the guests flying from Toronto (includes taxes), this was for the deluxe garden suite and for the junior suite we paid $1849 from Vancouver and $1749 from Toronto (again inlcudes taxes) we are going in January.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi!!

Thank you so much for your replies. It seems like you guys are getting way better deals than I've been able to get quoted for. The WC from Dreams gave me an address for group rates but it's not working, does anyone else have one that works? The travel agent we were working with quoted me over $1800 from Vancouver for a week's vacation!! Which seems crazy to me.[/QUOTE]

Hmmm, I'm not sure how we scored such an amazing rate (during March break at that!). They only thing that I can figure is that we approached our TA prior to the travel operators distributing their winter publications. We booked and received our group rate in May 2008 for our wedding in March 2009. We had to travel during March break due to the amount of teachers coming with us.

With the amount that we were able to save, we were able to help pay for some of our nearest and dearest to come with us that wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

For anyone in the GTA or the Guelph/Kitchener area, I'd be glad to share my TAs info.

I just need to vent for one quick second...

My IT guy came to repair a program on my work computer and by complete accident, he permanently deleted all of my desktop files... including my "Wedding" folder! I know, I know, I shouldn't be working on my wedding stuff at work... I guess this is my punishment!!! I had my wedding vows, seating chart, inspiration pictures that I downloaded from this site, etc etc... ALL DELETED! Oh well, I know it was an accident but geez, that was months of hard work! Looks like I need to start over. Good thing my wedding isn't until May. The poor IT guy though... he seemed like he was going to die of humiliation.

              Serenity now...!

Do you have at least some of the stuff saved elsewhere? Your home computer, email (I personally use my work and personal email accounts to send stuff back and forth to myself all the time), photobucket, printed copies etc. Hopefully you can find at least some of it.

Can somebody write back to Natalia and ask her if she is a new coordinator working at Dreams? It would be usefull to find out who she is and this is the type of thing that DT isn't very good at communicating with their brides.

So I haven't heard from the wedding coordinators and I'm getting married January 17th. I know I have plenty of time to work out the details but I feel like I'm missing something. Do I need to send them documents in order to get leagally married? If so, what do I need to send, what address and by what time. We're almost thinking that we'll skip the legal ceremony and do it when we get home. It's starting to sound complicated. But knowing us, we wouldn't be legally married for months after our ceremony. We tend to wait to the last minute to get things done! Plus, I want our ceremony to be real and offical. I don't know. If anyone knows what I need to do, I'd appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks

                    Hey SBlake,
I am getting married a few days after you; when I originally booked the wedding I filled out the forms for the witnesses/mine & FI parents and the two of us- Sandra/Landy told me this was all they required until we got there then the rest of the stuff would be taken care of then (blood test & paperwork).
                    hope that helps..

So I'm wondering if there is a typo in the wedding guide for the menu option. Under the surf & turf option it says it's served with "malted butter" I wonder if they ment "melted butter" I already had my menu's printed so it's too late now but just wondering
