Daisy's nicknames are...

Daisy Cakes

Bucket Head

Slug Head

Stinky But

Momma

Baby Cakes

Daisy Duke

Vera's are...

Moose

Vera Dog

Crotchity

Doggie Dog

And I call both of them "monkeys" I don't know why...

Your baby will be fine and home before you know it! And if he comes home with literally a bucket on his head...I can guarantee you'll be laughing at him for a few weeks :)

I call mine Monkeys too! That is hilarious! I go outside and say Where are my Monkeys at. And they all come running. When I first saw that I thought you were replying to something I said. Then I was like wait I didn't tell her I call them Monkeys. LOL too funny

Update:

Baby Jack was thrilled to see his mumma after work yesterday - he spent most of the evening sleeping and snuggling with FI and I.

We will need to keep a close eye on the staples to ensure that he doesn't scratch at them.

New dilemma: DO I RESPONDhuh.gif

So the owner&friend of the dog that bit my dog sent me a message this morning. I do not want her to feel obligated to pay for the vet visit - or feel more guilt about the dog biting incident. But I feel like I need to respond. I also do not want to lie to her about baby Jackson.

This is what she sent me:

Hey, How is Jack? Hope he is o.k.

We have come to the conclusion that she (sophie) is very protective of the camp becasue we have never seen her be so aggressive anywhere else but camp. I will make sure that if someone brings their dog out Sophie is tied and has a muzzle!!

It is crazy if I'm not disiplining my kids i am worring about my dog. I need a vacation! CUBA!! That is what I need!lol

Take Care

What do I say?

I don't want to lie because it will come back to me - i know it.

Any advice is appreciated.

Note: she is a guest planning on coming to the wedding.

tell her the flat out truth! why lie? send her a message back saying he's ok, we noticed he was bleeding, he had to get some staples, but it back home, safe and sound. cuba is right around the corner - you'll get your vacation soon!

if she volunteers to pay for the vet bill, you can choose to accept or not. if it were my dog that bit, i wouldn't take no for an answer, and if you would not accept $, i'd repay in a gift for the dog, or something...but there's no reason to lie.

Sorry about Jack, I bet he feels better soon!

You need to tell your friend the truth...she needs to know that Sophie did cause damage, it's her right as a dog owner, and yes, she should pay for the bill. Or she should at least offer, even if you don't want her to pay it. And, it was thoughtful of her to ask about him!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
