Just wondering if anyone any good recommendations for a good beach read. I'm leaving on vacation in a week and am looking for something funny/ light/ sexy to read. I've been reading A New Earth (which I love and recommend) but I think I need something a bit fluffier for the beach.

BTW I recommend Eat Pray Love. I read it last year on vacation. It's a wonderful book about a woman's search for enlightenment and meaning through travel. It's deep but just so funny and easy to read.

karen not sure this book totally fits your requirements, but i still think its a great read for anywhere, including the beach. i love this book - i read it for the first time about 2 or 3 years ago and have read it 3 times since.

I recently read a couple of books by Janet Evanovich & they were light & pretty cute.
I read Wife for Hire & Naughty Neighbour.
I wish you had longer before you left because I could mail them to you... I hate when my books sit around & collect dust. They get lonely & need to be read! lol

Inappropriate Men by Stacy Ballis is a great beach read. Shes Come Undone by Wally Lamb might be a good one too.

i'm glad I stumbled upon this thread as I need a good, fun, chick-lit book to read for summer.

I'm reading her newest Fearless Fourteen right now. These are my favorite characters of all my books. It's laugh-out-loud funny.

If you like chic lit my other favorite series is the Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella.

I love to read on vacation on the beach.
