Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Right girls....I'm up wayyyy too late and am off to bed now.

BD shoot tomorrow - 1pm and i'm absolutely cacking it!! excited as well though.

photog did say I could bring one person, and they could be with me while i have my hair and make up done, but she'd have to wait outside while I had my shoot as there's not enough room in the studio for someone else....she was really nice about it so I'm not fuming, but I will be going on my own.

Just packed my suitcase of goodies!!

so much to do in the morning to get ready before I leave!!

Hi ladies,

I am planning my sister-in-law's wedding in Mexico next year (June 2011) and she has fallen in love with the azul sensatori. I have got bits of information from our TA & from the Karisma website & then stumbled across this forum, I have started from the beginning (!) and only just managed to get to page 100! So I do apologise if these questions have been asked before, but hoping you could help us before we decide to book.

As we are flying from UK there will only be around 10-15 of us so just wondering what options would be available for her reception.

Her ideal would be:

Have the beach setting for ceromony around 4pm ish

Followed by cocktail hour with canope's 5:30 - 6

Followed by a private BBQ with torches on the beach about 6/7pm.

Would all this be possible at the Azul & does anyone know how much it would cost. I have been reading up on the wedding packages available & it says that you get a meal for 40 in the Spoon restaurant included, would she be able to have the BBQ as a substitute for the meal?

Any help or advice or contacts in the hotel would be appreciated.

Thanks ladies & good luck with the planning!

K

I'm so excited to share them, but at this point all I have is online access. And well, that would give access to all the pictures and well, I'm topless in a lot of them. lookatme.gif LOL. Though to be honest those are my favorites! I should have the CD with all the pictures very soon and I'll be sure to share with you ladies.

I just wanted to give a little shout out to myself!! cheer2.gif
YAY!!! I knew they would, I'm so excited to see them!!! That was the same with me, I had 250 but if I showed you all of them you'd see topless and my nakie ones blush2.gif

Congrats!

Hi! welcome3.gif

Beach ceremony - yes should would be able to have this
Cocktail hour with open bar and canapes - definitely able to have this
Beach BBQ - this is a food option as a buffet I believe

The 40 person meal @ Spoon would not be able to be substituted for anything. You would either have it at Spoon or not at all, the beach BBQ would be extra and on a per person basis. I could give you the prices based on this year but it won't be the same for 2011.

Just let your friend know that Azul Sensatori nickle and dimes you a bit, you can't swap anything or get a discount for not utilizing something in your package, everything is extra so just let her be prepared. A lot of us had to find out the hard way. As long as she budgets for it and prepares then it should be smooth sailing!

I would highly recommend reading the rest of the posts and putting together some facts you find from here for her and of course we'll answer your questions as well.

Good luck! You're such a sweet Maid of Honor to do all this research for her

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
