Has anyone worked with Brigitte? I believe shes a new coordinator out of Miami. Just beginning my discussions with her, my TA has done most the initial work for us.

 

At what point were you sent the detail sheet?

I have Brigitte too! She seems really nice and she responds really quickly. I haven't had a detail sheet yet so I asked her for one today :)

What are people's opinions on the two DJs? Mega DJ and DJ All Music? I can't find their work online, would have liked to see a video or sample work. Will they work with music that is not currently in their database?

Right on the lomas website it states that you can use their recommended play list (they even have a link) or submit your own selections by submitting the form- so you can send the music you want specifically,

we used DJ All Music b/c I didn't want to mess with having one of our guests MC. we were very happy with them! there is a 100 page pdf with song choices, and you can fill out the form with your requests (your WC will give you the excel sheet to fill out, and then adds that to your worksheet file). you can request music that isn't on their list, and they will try to find it. 

 

 

What are people's opinions on the two DJs? Mega DJ and DJ All Music? I can't find their work online, would have liked to see a video or sample work. Will they work with music that is not currently in their database?

Mega DJ's pricing is on the lomas website..: and yes it is common practice to have the different songs for entries etc. They all would be added to your DJ song details that are a part of your detail sheet

He cost $1000 for 4 hours. I had no communication with the dj prior. I filled out the spreadsheet and sent it to my WC. He played all my requests. He was so good songs friend thought we brought him to Mexico with us. He got our crowd and kept the party going until the lights came on.

Does anyone have recommendations on DJs? Not sure what my options are under the approved Lomas list. Did you have options? I definitely want someone who will help get the party started, I also would like to give a list of certain songs we would definitely like played. 

 

Any pointers? 

 

I have shot more than 300 wedding in this area, I have seen so many receptions and for sure I can tell you that a good DJ turn out the reception to the highest level, If I were you I would go for

 

Doremixx and Disco Movil Cancun

 

For experience I have gotten the best reception shoots with both of them

Unfortunately Karisma no longer allows outside vendors in the DJ category so the options are DJ All Music of Mega DJ. Both have gotten positive reviews from past Karisma brides lately.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
