Thank you for the welcome ladies! I read about 25 pages of this thread last night and already am feeling better about planning. Now I am going to try to find some more info on the Free Sweet package?? I know I have lots more to read! Bear with me as I learn my way around here.

A friend of mine is a makeup artist so she gave me some good quality makeup. Most of it was waterproof and it stayed on all night :)

And I've updated the list again.... we have a lot of new brides!!! Anyone else that needs to be added or removed, PLEASE PM ME! Thanks!!

Don't you love when people think you're younger? I went a couple weeks ago to get new tires for my car....the guy at the store said "So..you getting this taken care of while you're home from school for the summer?"

My response...."Um..I've been home from school for over 10 years now"

Love him to death and think one may convert me into a dog lover....we'll see! LMAO at his name too!! Very creative...and long. Everyone thinks my FI's name is Theodore because his nickname is Theo.
I had an American Bulldog before Baby G...her name was Princess Jasmine Peanut Butter Smooches :) Rescued her when she was about 1.5 and one night (April 2009) I woke up and she had passed away sometime during the night. She was only 7....I ADORED her..she was awesome and absolutely gorgeous! I definitely wanted another American Bulldog, but when I saw Baby G I fell in love...I'm usually a big (in size) dog lover (grew up with Newfoundlands my whole life) and didn't really know what to do with a small dog...

I'm pretty specific, I knew that if I hired someone to do my makeup (which I hadn't read good reviews for when I made my decision) and they did a crappy job I'd be pissed and have to do it for myself anyways. Do you have girlfriends that are good at makeup? You could ask them or bring pictures of what you want.

I did my trial in January and literally every time I put on makeup, which is really only for the weekends, I practiced doing my wedding look and perfecting it and practicing put on eyelashes. Now I'm actually really good at doing my makeup and got a lot of compliments on my wedding makeup from other brides asking me who I used. D just 2 days ago mentioned something about how gorgeous my makeup was and asked who I used! I said, hello I did it myself, you didn't know? He said, "wow! It was really good, you should be a makeup designer!" I don't know what a makeup designer is but I'll take it as a compliment.

LOL, omg I would smack him! You should start faking him out and showing him pictures of things you "decide" on that are really ugly, not your actual decisions but just to freak him out... omg I'm mean aren't I?
hahaha you're FI is too cute! Your makeup was beautiful! My future sis in law did this same thing. She practiced for months! Everyday she would practice her wedding makeup (I'm sure they thought she was beautiful at work everyday!) haha. It turned out perfectly! I want to do this but I can see this happening: Me starting to do it...then washing my face and starting over...then getting a little further along, and washing my face and starting over again...then start freaking out...then have one of my friends do it and not be satisfied! I really don't know what to do. Has anyone heard anything about the mac in cancun?

Happy birthday to you too! I can't keep up, I can't believe how many Cancer's we have in this forum... I'm one too, July 4th!
... that's my sister's bday. Yay for us July babies!!
Whoever wanted to know about the wine......

I love wine - I would not call myself a wine snob - but I know a little about it and drink a lot of it. I drink $15 - $20 bottles - which I think is average. Anyhoo, the wine at the resort was GOOD. My Dad and Step mom like good wine too and they all loved it. The Sauvignon Blanc was really good - I wish I could buy it - hint of grapefruit, my fave. The pinot noir was nice and they served it at the correct temperature. I was scared they were going to do room temp/too hot. I also tried the cabernet and that was good too. We stupidly ordered special wine for our wedding from Lomas - DO NOT DO THIS!!!!! No one knew they were drinking anything different from the house wine. Waste of $$$$$!!!!!! We did drink the house sparkling wine too and it was OK, I like mine more like prosecco - so drier - but hey, they poured it like water and we must've drank 12+ bottles at our cocktail reception :)
VERY glad to hear this. I've not heard very many good things about Mexican wine and that's what I usually drink - so glad to know that it is drinkable (by the kilo hahaha).
