Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hi Brides!

I'm so excited that I found this forum. Everyone's advice is very helpful! We're getting married at AS on February 8, 2014. Are there any other February 2014 brides on here?!

So the dress has shipped- I was jumping for joy for a moment and then stopped- they did not send it using an overnight service like I asked for and which they promised.  They sent it using some sort of International Priority Service- trouble is, my fiance just had something shipped using this method, and it still took 12 days to receive it.  Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies that Customs lets this dress get through into Canada ASAP!!!

I just read through the Sensatori forum you're working on- one topic made me a bit nervous- sand fleas on the beach!!! eeek -_-

My reception will be on the beach from 7pm-11pm, is this going to be a problem? I don't want my guests being bitten while eating their dinner yikes!

I heard about these sand fleas as well and I was so nervous especially when I got there and I looked at all of the people laying on the beach and their legs were covered in these bites. Anytime we were on the beach at night I wore long pants or a long dress and so I had no problems being bitten. However, all of my guests who wore shorts at night got bitten up pretty bad. You do have to be diligent about the bug spray or wear long pants.

Hi ladies, I am looking into different venues for the private reception and I think I'm leaning towards zocalo terrace is that the same as alfresco. I was wondering if any past brides that used this/these location have a picture of what it looks like decorated. Trying to envision what I'd be working with but the pictures I've seen thus far haven't been much help. Please pm me and I'll give u my email as I don't have enough posts to open attachments. Really appreciate it. Thanks

* Did not realize I did the picture the wrong way :) Just wanted to share of my trash the dress photos Eva
Beautiful! We are doing trash the dress pics as well. My biggest question is did you literally trash it afterwards or did you take it home? If you took it home how did you get it dry in time? Our TTD pics are Saturday and we leave very very early Sunday am.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
