Ok so now I figured out how to attach pictures properly! Hehe, these are what our invitations look like, we used shimmery cardstock with linen paper that the wording was on. They turned out great, I absolutely LOVE them! We did a pocket folder so everyone could have an RSVP card, along with a card for travel information!

Congrats on your wedding!  Also thanks for the great playlist.  I'm going to pass it on to my daughter (Melfaybik) who is getting married May 28, 2011 and still has lots of stuff left to do including the playlist!  Thanks again!

Thanks for the playlist I'm actually doing that now. Going through songs we know we definitely want to hear. Having a hard time picking out our first dance song. We dont have a song so I'm researching lol. Ive read the thread on here to get some ideas. Justine- your invitations came out so nice! I'm about to start making mine. Im having everyone book their things separate as well. We'll have everyone call to book rooms and everyone will be doing their own airfare which just came out this week :). Once everyone books and I know how many people we'll be having a bus pick them up as well. Can't wIt till everyone starts booking :)

I had some cool music for the ceremony.  The music while the guests were being seated was rock music but performed by string musicians.  The bridesmaids walked down to Bittersweet symphony.  I walked down to Can't help falling in love by Ingrid Michaelson.  We had Endless Love for our Sand Ceremony, Michael Buble's Crazy Love for the Signing of the documents, and then our recessional was Smile which I cut straight to the chorus. 

 

Oh, and another tip, be sure you label the songs above as what they are for in your ipod.  I had forgotten to do that, and so I had to write a list right before the wedding. 
 


Justine, I only have white and turquoise lanterns, and turquoise sashes/runners.  Don't think that will help you much but if there's anything I do figure out that might help ya, I'll let you know.  :)

Wow the invites and the playlist look awesome...props on Prince choices Im a big fan :)!!! Ive been very busy at work so my planning had to stop for a bit. Can't wait for school year to be over so I can finally do all the fun stuff you ladies write about :)  I also wanted to say thank you everyone for such great tips and advice. I don't know what I would have done without this site. SOOO happy I found it. I am truly grateful!!! Congrats to all who have gotten hitched while I was MIA and best wishes for upcoming weddings!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
