I trashed my real dress and it was totally fine. I soaked it in the bath tub over night to get all the sand off, hung it to dry, then a week and half later when we got back home I took it to the drycleaners and it was good as new! There was only 1 bead that was hanging off and that probably happened at the disco. DH's suit was fine too.

I haven't yet had my opportunity to Trash My Dress.... but I have heard similar comments - where TTD's don't really wreck your dress, and that a round of drycleaning makes it good as new.

      Anyone have a similar experience?

I WILL DEFINATELY TRASH MY DRESS!!!

PS> those shots are amazing! and the video is really cute too!

          Amarillis, your right on.

The term "Trash the Dress" is not literal....well...sometimes it is, however in the case with ocean water, most of the time the dresses are not really trashed.

I was told that it is THE best way to cool off on the big day! And besides, tell me it doesn't look like it would be a blast! And there's the making out with your new husband... and the beautiful, sexy, fun pictures you'll have afterwards...!!

Why NOT trash the dress?!! Or "a" dress

I am interested in doing a TTD shoot, but does anyone know if Michael can/will do them. Also can anyone recommend a photographer either located in Jamaica or that is willing to travel. Also price is sort of an issue, so the cheaper the better.

ladies that are concerned with ruining your dress if you are hqavig AHR should think about simply buying another dress for trash the dress shots... when you think of it how much of the dress is shown in the pic... its really the touching and grabbing that we are all looking at....sorry guys on our convenants for about 3 months now...:)
