Alright ladies, I need some help because I'm really stressing out over this. For our ceremony, we are having the mariachi band (gasp, I know, I'm a bit nervous about it, but the FI really, really wants it so of course that's what we are doing). Basically, I can't figure out what song I will be walking into or the bridal party. If anyone who has recently used them, can think of a really happy, peppy love song that they played that we could walk out of the church from after we are married, I'd appreciate it. If you can remember any slow, sappy love songs, I'd appreciate them too.

This is really my last option! I've googled everything & can't find anything I really like and I emailed Claudia & all she'll say is don't worry they will do standard "Here Comes the Bride" and "Wedding March." I'd like to do something different though.

We had the mariachi band at our reception, don't worry at all they are amazing! Our guests LOVED them. And I'm so glad we had them. I'm not really sure what peppy love song to suggest though, they played so many songs it's hard to remember! But for a slow, sappy love song, we were serenaded Il Divo's "The man you love" when we were in the Tequila lobby bar (a few days before the wedding) by the mariachi band, and I cried it was so beautiful. They did the most amazing job, and now I LOVE that song because of that. Maybe they could just sing the chorus or something from it? Their voices are unbelievable... wish I could re-live that.

Photographer guest pass/hotel room question...

As discussed, if we want an outside photographer, we have to pay for them to stay two nights in the hotel. Does anyone know if the photographer can stay in the Caribe for two nights if our wedding is at the Palace?? Or will we wind up paying guest passes for themhuh.gif

Thank you so much! :)

buehler.allison: You are able to book your photographer at any of the 5 Barcelo resorts. We booked ours at the Colonial, and just like a guest, if they are at a Barcelo, they can access the Palace on the day of the wedding *only* for free. We had no problem with this. We didn't even have anyone ask him why he was there or anything (Because his wrist band was different than the Palace wrist band, so I was unsure if he'd be able to walk around no problem in the Palace without being stopped, but it was fine.) :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
