Thank you very much for sharing your honest review, and you do not come across high maintenance at all! I don't know any brides that would have handled all those mishaps so well. I'm sorry things were so hard for you, but you looked beautiful, and happy, despite! Thank you for sharing, and congratulations!

You didnt come across as a Debbie Downer at all! I think you handled it well considering so much went wrong.

I hope if things go wrong on my wedding day that I can handle it with as much grace as you!

You looked absolutely beautiful in your dress by the way!

You did not come across as Debbie Downer or "bitter, high-maintenance, hard to please". I think your review was not a whine, but a statement of the facts. You asked for specific things (that you were to get no matter what) and you did not get them. It's not like it was a whole bunch of extra stuff that they chose not to accommodate. I would be disappointed also, if that happened to me. Especially the minister. I think that's a big boo-boo.

I'm glad you looked past the errors and are still able to be positive. Hope you can remember the good things!

Aww, I'm really sorry to hear that your experience was not the greatest. I was kind of worried that with the ever-growing popularity of the ROR for weddings that more and more mistakes might start to happen... It sounds like Kenesha is not quite as trained up as she needs to be and there was some confusion with having her involved. So sorry to hear that!
I do think you made the best of it, and that is really the attitude you have to have with a DW - just be able to look on the bright side and enjoy it! But ANY bride would be disappointed with some of these mistakes that happened and it's good of you to write the review and let others know!
For my wedding as well, we were left on our own after the ceremony, we all just walked to the dinner at 6 PM and winged it from there! I never saw Chandlyn either after the ceremony so maybe that is something for other brides to expect as well... !

P.S. We would love to see more pics though! You look beautiful and very happy!

Awe, thanks for all the nice comments ladies! We really did have a great day and it wasn't really until the day after when we kinda added up all the mistakes and realized how off-course things went.

The cake toppers are custom made by a lady in Ontario. Here's the website Finding Fimo if anyone is interested, she was awesome to deal with, very prompt and professional and did an absolutely GREAT job!!!

The biggest thing that I was upset with was the minister vs officiant. I think people should be free to believe in whatever happens to get them through the day and for me, my conscience guides my actions not religion. It really did feel akward to have to say those religious things when it's not what we believe. Maybe this means we'll have to renew our vows, the proper way, on a beach in a few years!

I promise I will add some more picutres once I get them! And I'll try to do up a review of the resort itself cause it was pretty darn great!

I applaud your attitude! I'm glad you were able to foucs on the positives, not the negatives. I would have been really mad if this happened at my wedding.

You look beautiful and happy. That's all that matters! i can't wait for more pictures!
