Having a DJ is a good idea to get the dancing started!! And so we can have our first dance! Is DJ Bob the one that they offer throught the resort? I've also heard good things about him :) Also is the Hacienda the disco? Or something different? Lol...I have so many questions still! Sorry...

I don't have any pictures of the flowers, I just picked my favorite flower and then asked Karla if I can get them for the wedding. So Im gonna take a picture of a bouquet I like with me, and hopefully they can copy it :) Can you post some pics of the different cakes, I am interestd to see what they look like :)

Are you getting your hair and makeup done at the spa?

Oh and our trip is through Nolitours/Air Transat and you?

My biggest concern is that it's too hot out for everyone at 2pm...but at the same time...I don't want it to rain!! LOL...

DJ Bob isn't affiliated with the hotel but he's done many weddings at the GBP. Tlseege had the resort DJ and was really impressed by him.

*On a side note...do you think she's had her baby yet?!?! I've noticed she hasn't been on the forum lately...lets hope she's got some wonderful news when she comes around :)

The disco is located in the Hacienda...the Hacienda is a large complex full of stores, restaurant, etc...

One of my best friends is my hairdresser so as long as she can hop on a seat sale...she will be coming to do my hair (BIG SMILE!!)...and I'm not too fussy when it comes to makeup.

We went with Air Canada Vacations because they were having some amazing deals around the time that we booked. Since then, the prices dropped, and then they skyrocketed...so I think we were pretty lucky with our package. ACV have alot of nice upgrades too...

Wow!! Those are beautiful flowers!! Did anyone send you a price list with them as well? I know that you get a basic bouquet included with most wedding packages...but what if you want to upgrade...or get bouquets for the bridesmaids? Does anyone have pricing?

Thanks for the email Darya12...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
