I am also brining down my own ribbon to wrap my bouquet so I know I will have what I want.

Also, does any one know how much extra the flowers for the bridesmaids and groomsmen are?

My extra bouquets were $30 or $35 I think. And I brought my own ribbon. Every other one I'd seen down there was white with a BIG bow and that was NOT what I wanted.

Yay! I heard back from Jazmin, and she has not given away my date. Apparently they were having email problems or something like that down there. So anyway, I'm a happy girl now!!

Does anyone know if the resort provides table numbers?

So everyone was right about Jazmin being totally on top of things as your date approaches. I'm receiving lots of emails - and there's so much for me to do!

For the ladies who are having/had the private dinner, I'm now thinking of doing this option based on RyanAmanda's review and the photos that Jazmin sent me. It looks amazing! I've asked Jazmin, but I'm not sure how clear I was. Here is my question:

Do you know how the pricing structure works for the private dinner? As in, you pay per person for the dinner, but how many hours does this include? Do you pay separately for the bar after dinner (as in the $8 per person for 2 hours) or is the bar included in the dinner price? I guess you also have to add in the fee for the DJ for all the hours you are occupying the space. Am I making sense?

JKCZ - I don't know about table numbers, but Jazmin said I may want to bring my own place cards, so maybe you should count on bringing your own table numbers, just to be sure you have them.

thanks I am currently making my own table numbers to be safe.

For the Akumal side the private dinner was explained that drinks are included for the 2 hours of dinner but after dinner you would have to pick a drink package and pay per person. I am so happy you are starting to get the answers you need, this past week we have also been getting a lot of emails yippie!

Thanks, I've been keeping up with the thread on my email account and everyone's posts have made me feel far less stressed. That and I've finally heared from Jazmin so I'm not as worried about the details. I still don't know if my matron of honour is coming at all (that's what makes it hard to plan what the girls will wear. If we want matching dresses we need to order soon...) She knows it is a big resort but still doesn't relish spending that much money to be uncomfortable.

                  Anyway, Happy New Year everyone!

For the ladies that had the private reception on the Akumal side how far was a all-inclusive bar from the reception location? We are trying to decide on which drink option to use.
