Starfish Passing Thread

Hi ladies,

 

I just wanted to comment on the issue that has come up in regards to dc22173's Clear starfish.  If you look at the time line below I was to return from our trip on 10/6 with Futurmrsjrj's wedding 8 days after my return. This was an issue with DWbridetobe and myself when Futuremrsjrj wanted to be added to the list, since i didnt think 8 days would be suffice time for the starfish to get to her in time and DWbridetobe was worried that Futuremrsjrj's return date would be cutting it too close for her own wedding. Due to futuremrsjrj's saying that this would be enough time we both added her to the list. I tried my best to send the starfish off as soon as I possibly could and I managed to send it off the very next day, 10/7 so that would have been 7 days until her wedding (to be clear it was never said that we would send the starfish the day we returned, the dates on list are there to show our travel times.) I really am not trying to step on anyones toes here but I did my part and did what was agreed upon. I really hope no blame gets put on me since I did send off the starfish during the specified timeline and it is not my fault if it did not reach her in time. Also for clarification purposes, the starfish has not been returned to me with any notice due to insufficient postage nor an unknown address so even though it was unfortunate what happened with futuremrsjrj I am really hoping the starfish is sitting in her mailbox or sitting in her house and she will pass it on to DWbridetobe, upon her return.

If you read back in the thread - she did send it out to futuremrsj, so I dont know if there just wasn't enough time to ship or what - Sux for futuremrsj, but I hope that it will arrive while she is gone and she will be able to send it on to you Brandi.

DWbridetobe & Futuremrsjrj - please update us on what is going on with our lil guy. Futuremrsjrj should be back and the starfish hopefully is on its way to DWbridetobe! I would suggest couriering him to Canada, perhaps you two can split the extra cost.

 

Dilara and I are holding our breath to hear whats going on!

I'll update everyone the moment I know it's in transit or I receive it. I leave in about a week and a half, so I'm hoping we can get it to me before I leave. I'll be returning November 7th, and can send it back out on the 8th to Dilaria.

Sounds fine to me.  This is should be for current/active BDW brides.  She hasn't been on since March.  I say give her until the end of the week, basically 2 more days, then switch her spot over to Surprise.

Sent starfish out today. Hopefully it will get to its next destination in enough time-although I am thinking it may not be enough time. I dont know how long it takes things to get to canada. Sorry that I caused confusion and upset others by being added to the list. I just wanted to be apart of it and now I'm thinking 8 days just wasn't enough time. Again I'm sorry. Good luck to everyone else. Hope it reaches its destination safely.
